TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account
The Broker - The Short VersionTabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker. That last detail matters. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background. They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice. The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is solid. The SoftwareAvailable: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.Accounts and PricingThree tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally. How Fast Are the FillsThe execution is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.SafetyThis is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment. What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities. The BonusTabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit. The complete breakdown, with the full fee table, withdrawal policies, tab trade and regulatory details, read more is at Trade The Day.
